Serving northern Indiana.
Our syrup is grown naturally and organically on our farm in the forest surrounding our fields. Those same forests also yield us wild ramps, morel mushrooms, and many wild native species of plants. It takes many man hours to gather and chop firewood, clean and prepare hoses, buckets, and spickets, carefully tap the trees, and monitor them a few times every day. Depending on the weather and seasonal changes, we estimate it takes at least 55 hours from harvest to labelling the bottle, to prepare one 8oz jar of syrup. It takes only 20 seconds or less to finish eating one delicious pancake covered in syrup. See how much we love our customers!
Yes, we know honey doesn't grow on trees. In fact, it's the honey bees that bring us this delicious sweetener.
Our hives are tended to by farmers Daniel and Michael. Special suits are worn to protect them from any stings. And they lovingly and tenderly care for these bees year round.
